I have been employed as a Security Consultant to the Football Association for over five years. My role often involves working with visiting football federations and high profile teams. In July 2012 I was engaged working with the Brazil football team prior to the London 2012 Olympics. Brazil stayed at Redworth Hall Hotel overnight prior to playing Team GB at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on Friday 20 July 2012. I required security personnel to support my work with the team by providing static guarding services to protect the player’s private rooms at the hotel. I contacted Vinovium Associates at short notice and met with their Directors at the company’s offices in Bishop Auckland. The management team and their security operatives were of the highest order, they understood and responded to the challenges of providing discreet security to such a high profile team as Brazil. The guards were immaculate, fully cognisant of the brief for the assignment, they provided a professional and discreet security service supporting me in protecting the players and staff in the private areas. The Director attended the team departure to support the operation allowing me greater flexibility to ensure that players were safely escorted through the spectators at the hotel and safely to their transport to the match. Vinovium Associates provided me with a thoroughly professional service and I would have no hesitation in commending their security services to any client who is looking for security support for visiting football or other sporting teams or at any corporate event. The team were able to rapidly deploy resources and readily assimilate the client requirements, it was a pleasure to work with them and I will always consider Vinovium Associates as my security provider should I work in the County Durham area again.
